Sterile aluderm® dressings with an aluminum-coated wound pad for gentle, highly absorbent acute care of injuries and first- and second-degree burns.
Description
The aluderm® compress is designed for gentle wound care in first aid and emergency medicine. The special wound dressing, made of aluminum-coated polyester nonwoven fabric, ensures atraumatic care and significantly reduces the risk of wound adhesion. The hydrophobic PP barrier layer supports the dressing’s high absorbency without allowing fluid to be transferred back to the wound. This keeps the wound environment stable, which promotes skin formation and healing. The dressings are breathable, physiologically safe, and free of chemical binders. Each unit is EO-sterilized under continuous monitoring, packaged in special medical-grade paper, and labeled with an exceptionally long expiration date of 20 years from the date of manufacture. As a Class I medical device (sterile), aluderm® dressings are particularly suitable for professional and reliable acute care.
