Description

The aluderm®-aluplast Elastic Finger Joint Bandage is a special wound dressing with an aluminum-coated aluderm® wound pad and an absorbent non-woven fabric. The aluderm® pad does not stick to the wound, does not fray, is highly absorbent, breathable, and can support skin regeneration and healing. Thanks to the highly elastic polyester nonwoven fabric used as the backing material, the dressing conforms perfectly to the finger joint and follows every movement without restricting it. The white, particularly skin-friendly, and highly breathable bandage is water-repellent and is secured with a polyacrylate adhesive that is further activated by body heat. This ensures that the bandage stays securely in place and is comfortable to wear—even for people with sensitive skin or bandage allergies. Each bandage is individually sealed for hygiene, allowing for on-demand use, safe storage, protection against contamination, and extended shelf life. The finger joint bandage is a Class I medical device according to DIN 13019 and belongs to the category Wound Care > aluderm®-aluplast Rapid Wound Dressings.
