Description

The aluderm® Children’s Alucap Head Cover is a professionally designed full-head cover made from the proven aluderm® material for gentle wound care in children. It is ideal for extensive head wounds or injuries throughout the entire head area that are difficult to dress. The rounded hood features an internal aluminum coating that, as an aluminum-coated wound dressing, optimally covers all superficial wounds and injuries. The head cap is securely fastened under the chin using ties, ensuring a stable, child-friendly fit. Each aluderm® children’s alucap is individually sterile-packed and, as a Class I medical device, meets the highest standards for hygiene and safety. The aluderm® material is exceptionally soft and supple; it does not stick to the wound, does not fray, is highly absorbent, breathable, hypoallergenic, physiologically safe, free of optical brighteners and chemical binders, and can support skin regeneration and healing. The Children’s Alucap is classified in the manufacturer’s “First Aid for Children” category.
