Description
The KONTAMED safety container is a specially designed disposal container for medical waste that offers maximum safety in daily practice and hospital operations. It is equipped with a pull-out slot for cannulas and syringes, a drop-in slot for scalpels and other sharp or pointed objects, and a large waste opening with a spring-loaded flap for gauze pads, disposable medical gloves, and similar materials. Once filled, the container is securely closed using the safety cover, removed from the wall mount, and disposed of entirely. The sturdy polypropylene in high-visibility yellow is physiologically safe, impact-resistant, temperature-resistant, and can be incinerated in an environmentally friendly manner—leaving no residue. The wall mount and safety cover are red, ensuring clear visual identification.
